The NCM C5 provides maximum performance blended with a minimalist design for commuters. Even with its subtle but elegant appearance, the NCM C5 has everything you need to make your daily rides easy and stress-free.
A High-Tech Power System
The NCM C5 has a 250W rear-mounted hub motor from Das Kit, powered by a 36V 432Wh battery. The system uses intelligent torque sensor technology to give you a more natural feel than other rear-mounted motors.
In addition to this, the system gives you an assisted range of 100km, depending on the profile of your route.
When you buy an NCM C5, you get a Das-Kit DC363 36V2A charger. This will fully charge your battery in around seven hours. You can charge the battery with it either mounted in the frame or removed.
The NCM C5 has three pedal assist modes to help you effortlessly ride up hills and into headwinds. But it also has a walk mode, so you can push your electric bike much more easily when you need to.
You control all of this via an easy-to-use display unit mounted on the handlebars.
A Robust Construction For Durability
NCM is well-known for its high-quality construction and has maintained this reputation with the C5. This electric bike's frame is made from strong 6061 aluminum alloy. They chose this material as it is resistant to corrosion and incredibly stiff while being lightweight.
The stiffness makes the C5 very responsive, while the light weight improves efficiency, contributing to its impressive range. These are essential characteristics for fast riding in urban environments.
Enhanced Safety And Handling
Riding in cities can be daunting and dangerous; therefore, the NCM C5 has bright front and rear lights and reflectors. These are critical for alerting other road users to your presence in low light conditions.
The Tektro duel-pivot calliper brakes are ideal for urban commuting. They are reliable and powerful, but they are also effortless to maintain. Therefore, you can ensure that you have enough stopping power when you need it.
NCM has fitted the C5's wheels with CST tires. These provide lots of grip in pretty much any conditions you get when riding around the city. So you can have peace of mind that you will have traction when you need it.
These tires also have a low rolling resistance, enhancing the bike's range.
