The Packster2 70. Simplifies everyday family life.

The Packster2 70 simply makes life easier. You can now transport everything from A to B with ease – whether up to three children or the weekly shop – in the Cargo Bike box made of environmentally friendly materials. Ride safely and easily around town with its low centre of gravity and small turning circle. The family E-Bike with its height-adjustable saddle and stem adjusts to different riders in seconds.

The Packster2 70 is available in four models:

• Packster2 70 Family: a specially priced Packster 70 Touring that includes the Purion 200 Display, a 625Wh battery, a 10 Speed Shimano Cues drivetrain, Double Child Seat, Child Cover, Rear Carrier and the Comfort Kit.  You can choose the colour, but not other options can be changed.  To make changes to the Packster 70, please choose one of the other models below.  (Although our website will allow you to make changes, this is not actually possible as the Packster 70 Family cannot be changed from the standard configuration.)
• Packster2 70 Touring: uses a traditional chain, cassette and derialluer with the Shimano XT 11 Speed and 11-50T cassette for a sporty riding experience.  It includes a 750Wh battery.
• Packster2 70 Vario: features a Gates Carbon Belt, and the comfortable, continuous Enviolo hub gear ensuring you are always on the move in the perfect gear. The gears are also virtually maintenance- and wear-free.  Choose this option to be able to shift to any gear at any time and to avoid the maintenance and repair/replacement requirements found with a standard derailluer and cassette configuration. Includes a 750Wh battery.
• Packster2 70 Automatic: adds the option to the Packster2 70 Vario of having your Packster shift automatically for you!  It will even auto downshift when you stop.  Includes a 750Wh battery.

There is space for up to three children age 7 or younger in the 100% recyclable EPP box produced with zero emissions. And their safety is top priority: the child seats all feature 5-point seat belts, while the side impact protection provides outstanding safety in urban traffic and the central railing doubles as a grab handle. Optional accessories, such as the all-season child cover or tarpaulin, are produced in a resource-efficient manner, and the child seats are made of 100% recycled material. So now you can transport your children worry-free. (Loading surface approved for up to 70 kg. Please observe national regulations for the transport of children on bikes before using.)

The Packster 70 offers a 70-cm-long and 60-cm-wide loading surface and, with basic equipment, provides a cargo space of up to 240 litres. With the optional Cargo Carry System, the shock-absorbing and insulating EPP box can adapt to any transport project. Whether you need a level cargo surface, secure transport for standard Euro boxes or storage space for smaller objects – the Cargo Carry System protects your cargo thanks to versatile elements and diverse adjustment options. You can even transport up to approx. 375 litres, securely sealed, with the optional high box cover (loading surface approved for up to 70 kg).

Whether you are riding or parking, getting on and off or loading – the Packster 70 is incredibly simple to use at all times. Its small turning circle means that it is ideal for riding and manoeuvring in tight spaces. And its optional Bosch eBike ABS 2.0 with Magura disc brakes ensures that you retain control even if you have to brake suddenly: it reliably prevents tires from sliding, the rear wheel from lifting, and the whole bike from skidding out to the side. But even its standard Tektro disc brakes pack quite a punch if you have to stop quickly. The combination of high-performance headlight with daytime running light and well distributed reflectors guarantees that you can see and be seen. 

Adjustable seating position

The height-adjustable saddle and stem let you adjust the seating position of the Packster 70 to different body heights from 1.50 m to 2.00 m in the blink of an eye, making it the perfect companion to family life and a flexible replacement for your car.

Control Technology Package

The optional Control Technology Package with the Riese & Müller Control Technology is synonymous with safety and dynamism: the perfectly tuned full suspension of the rear swing arm ensures a sporty riding experience and the best traction even at high speeds. The active rear swing arm, optimised front wheel suspension and co-sprung luggage carrier form the core of the Control Technology. The result is powerful propulsion and sporty riding without any loss of energy.

Cargo Carry System

With its versatile polypropylene elements, the Cargo Carry System enables loads of various sizes to be safely transported. Depending on your needs, you have the option of a flat cargo surface, storage space in the bottom of the EPP box, up to three load compartments and a securing element for standard Euro boxes with two side pockets for smaller objects. In the event of a higher load, the cargo can be secured with additional straps using four eyelets.

Double child seat

The double child seat with adjustable sitting and sleeping position holds two children age seven or younger. Five-point belts ensure maximum safety. Our child seats are made of 100% recycled material. Alternatively, you can transport larger loads by folding up the seat part of the double child seat. Please observe national regulations for the transport of children on bikes before using.

Double child seat and luggage shelf at the front

The double child seat with adjustable sitting and sleeping position holds two children age seven or younger. Five-point belts ensure maximum safety. Our child seats are made of 100% recycled material. The front luggage rack offers maximum storage space. When folded down, it lets you transport luggage up to the size of a crate of water, and secure it, thanks to eyelets and other fastening options with additional straps. Alternatively, the luggage rack can also be used as a table for your children with space underneath for their feet. When folded up, it creates a luggage compartment, the rubber straps of which securely fix slimmer objects, like shoulder bags, in place. The 47-litre box supplied fits perfectly onto the luggage rack or into a shopping trolley and, thanks to its food-safe and recyclable PP design, is ideal for your weekly shopping. Alternatively, you can transport larger loads by folding up the seat part of the double child seat. Please observe national regulations for the transport of children on bikes before using.

Three child seats

The double child seat with adjustable sitting and sleeping position along with a rear-facing single seat at the front allow you to carry up to three children. Five-point belts ensure maximum safety. Our child seats are made of 100% recycled material.
Alternatively, the seat part of the third child seat can be folded to the back to create a separate luggage compartment. For even more storage space, the seat parts of the double child seat can be folded up to the rear and those of the third child seat to the front.

Tarpaulin

We recommend strong, weatherproof tarpaulin to protect your cargo from dirt and rain. It will allow you to get your cargo to its destination clean and dry whatever the weather, while children can ride with the tarpaulin half or fully rolled back thanks to the flexible adjustment options.

Flat box cover

The flat, lockable box cover allows you to protect transported goods with a volume of up to 240 L against wind and weather. The folding polypropylene cover allows for easy loading and unloading.

High box cover

The high, lockable box cover made of EPP allows you to transport goods with the best protection and a maximum volume of about 375 L. And loading and unloading is still easy thanks to the low loading height.

Child cover

The year-round cover provides protection from the wind, rain, snow and sun in any season. Its height can be adjusted depending on the position of the handlebar. The practical partial opening function and additional sun protection provide shade and pleasant cooling in summer. In its summer position, even people up to 1.65 m tall can fit under the cover.

Lock for glove compartment

The glove compartment lock means small items are safely stowed away. The lock uses the same key as the battery lock and Abus frame lock and replaces the standard magnetic closure.

Options

Performance Package

The Performance Package consisting of performance brakes and lights as well as a suspension seatpost offers you even more riding pleasure. The Tektro TRP C 2.3 cargo brake can withstand extreme constant loads and provides great stability and reduced wear. The Supernova M99 Mini Pro headlight offers the best lighting conditions, while the Supernova M99 Tail Light with brake light ensures maximum safety. The suspension seatpost absorbs vibrations and shocks and helps ensure a comfortable ride.

Control Technology Package

The Control Technology Package, consisting of a suspension rear stay, Performance brakes and light, provides maximum riding pleasure and ultimate comfort. Vibrations and hard knocks are simply ironed out, thanks to the perfectly coordinated full suspension of the rear swing arm. The Tektro TRP C 2.3 cargo brake can withstand constant loads and provides great stability and reduced wear. The Supernova M99 Mini Pro headlight offers the best lighting conditions: the switch to high beam ensures a level of visibility otherwise only known with cars, especially in the forest and out of town, while the Supernova M99 Tail Light with brake light ensures maximum safety.

Pannier rack

The minimalist pannier rack is ideal for fixing panniers weighing up to 5 kg each. The rear and brake lights are unobtrusively integrated into it. The “Form follows function” design principle has been exceptionally well executed with the pannier rack

Carrier (for Control Technology Package)

If the front storage space is not enough, there is always the optional carrier. It is ideal for attaching panniers, making it perfect for longer bike trips too. Since it is secured directly to the frame, it also benefits from the suspension thanks to Control Technology.

Comfort kit

The perfect option for anyone wanting to ride in greater comfort: the classically curved handlebars and wider saddle enable you to sit comfortably in an upright position.

DualBattery 1500

DualBattery Technology perfected by Riese & Müller ensures twice the range or far higher climbs, fewer charging breaks and longer-lasting riding pleasure. With the 1,500 Wh available, completely new destinations can be reached and you no longer have to worry about the range in your daily routine.

Additional chain lock with bag

The sturdy Abus chain lock, in addition to the Abus Shield frame lock, provides twice the security for your E-Bike.The 130 cm long chain is latched onto the frame lock and you can quickly lock your bike to the nearest lamppost or lock it together with up to three other bikes. The chain thickness of 6 mm ensures a high level of anti-theft protection. Especially practical: frame lock, chain lock and battery lock all use the same key. The bag is firmly attached to the saddle and allows quick and easy removal of the chain lock thanks to its ergonomic shape and Fidlock magnetic closure. Please note: for smaller frame sizes the lowest saddle position may not be usable when the lock bag is fitted.

GX option

If you like riding your E-Bike off-road, then simply equip it with first-class all-terrain tires. The SnakeSkin side wall of the Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus tires guarantees exceptional grip especially when cornering. A 3 mm protective cover around the inner tube provides extra-secure puncture resistance.

Kiox 300

The Kiox 300 display is perfect for sporty riders: it displays more than just fitness data, helping riders to optimise their training. It is even possible to pair it with heart rate monitors via Bluetooth. Map-free navigation (only in conjunction with a smartphone) completes the features of the Kiox 300. It can be intuitively operated using the LED Remote on the handlebars.

Bosch eBike ABS 2.0

The Bosch eBike ABS 2.0 with Magura ABS brake ensure that you remain safely in the saddle even when you need to brake suddenly – both on solid asphalt roads or gravel tracks. It prevents tires from slipping, the rear wheel lifting and the whole bike skidding out to the side.
